From the moment we envisioned the setup, we knew it would be spectacular—a golden hoop adorned with sunflowers, surrounded by a glowing pathway of candles and blooms. Shenelle had fallen in love with our Pathway of Love package, and Jeremy? He was all in, ready to make it happen for her. But as with any grand romantic gesture, a little chaos always finds its way into the script.
We arrived at Bel Allure early, excited to bring this luxury marriage proposal setup to life. As we carried the décor up to the deck, we noticed the wind picking up, but at first, we didn’t think much of it. After all, a little breeze never hurt anyone, right? Wrong.
First, we secured the frame and moved on to the centre drape and that’s when the wind decided to have its own fun. The elegant drapery we had planned? Completely unruly. No matter how we secured it, it twisted, flapped, and refused to stay put. We tried everything—adjusting, pinning, weighing it down—but nothing worked. At one point, our team even considered scrapping it altogether. Then, just when we were about to call it quits, Gabe threw out a last-ditch idea. We held our breath, tried it, and—finally—it worked! Relief washed over us… until we looked at the time. Now we were running behind.
But before we could even regroup, Ravindra Ramkallawan our photographer for the evening, showed up. And let’s just say, he and Brittany, thecamerawife, walked into chaos—half-placed sunflowers, unlit candles, and décor scattered in bags and boxes everywhere. We were scrambling to pull it together when, of course, the next hiccup hit.

With only minutes to spare, we did what we do best—pulled together as a team and worked like magic. Every candle was lit, every sunflower perfectly placed, and just as Jeremy and Shenelle stepped into the scene, the transformation was complete.
