Jon-Ross reached out to the team at Picnic-Perfect to plan this surprise picnic proposal at Palmiste Park in Trinidad and we were elated to work along with him. There is just something so romantic about strolling through a beautiful garden only to stumble upon a romantic set up just for you. Jon-Ross and Areanna met online in 2020 and in spite of challenges, their love story bloomed over the past two years.
On the day of the proposal, Jon-Ross led Areanna on a stroll through Palmiste Park. As they walked over, hand in hand, to the romantic picnic, she was completely blown away by what she saw. As Jon-Ross dropped to one knee and popped the question, his chosen song Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift played in the background. If you loved Bridgerton as much as we did, you’d definitely agree that this cover version was an absolutely perfect choice. And without a doubt… she said YES!!!!
